Mark Navin is the president of one of the oldest independent IT Management and Consultancy companies in Tokyo.
An Australian, he has spent over 20 years in the Information Communications and Technology business. He has spent two winters in
Antarctica and a period as permanent representative to the World Meteorological Organisation of the United Nations.
Whilst
on a work sabbatical, Mark came to Japan 15 years ago as a Scuba Instructor to participate in an underwater archaeological exploration
of the 13th Century Mongol invasion of Japan and to make a study of the double byte computer operating system and has never left.
Founding first CompuCare and then, on expansion, renaming it Forefront Technologies he is a member of the ACCJ and the Australia-New Zealand
Chamber of Commerce in Japan and advises a number of organisations on technology trends. He is particularly interested in advising on the
strategic application of new technology for small businesses.
