Ken is currently the Regional Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board for both Japan and Korea. The past years have been a terrible year for tourism in Hong Kong with visitor numbers down to about 10 percent of the previous years due to SARS. But right after SARS, the Hong Kong Tourism Board organized a three-phase recovery campaign to bring back the numbers to what it was prior to SARS. The campaigns are global and encourage visitors not only to see and take pictures but to actually experience Hong Kong's way of living. To customize the campaign for the Japanese market, they have organized "Hong Kong Week" in leading department stores in Tokyo highlighting some of the flavors of Hong Kong from food to everyday Hong Kong experience.

Is originally from the USA and has lived in Japan for more than 15 years. She is active in the international travel industry in Japan and serves as the Director - Japan for Travel South USA, Visit Florida and an advisor to the Seattle and Washington State Tourism office. She is the past Chairman of the Association of National Tourist Office Representatives (ANTOR) and is the current Vice-Chair of the Japan Visit USA Travel Committee.
